Recruitment and retention of health care providers into rural and low income urban communities has proven difficult due to lack of financial incentives and lack of professional and personal opportunities. Indiana AHEC Network has partnered with ISDH to engage in efforts to promote retention of National Health Service Crops clinicians to address access to care within these communities.
